Demolition of outdated incinerator facility at Coleshill Sewage Treatment Works site, Warwickshire
We’re pleased to highlight a significant project we have nearly completed in Warwickshire, involving the demolition of an outdated incinerator facility at the Coleshill Sewage Treatment Works site. It was critical to ensure protection and reduction of environmental impacts to surrounding stakeholders, which included a major ‘live’ high profile construction project as well as the client’s environmental reduction requirements.
Throughout the project, we implemented strategies to minimise disruption and integrated environmental controls, such as sealing drainage systems and employing dampening techniques to contain emissions. Our use of GreenD+ diesel significantly reduced CO2 emissions by 96% compared to traditional red diesel.
The clean, inert materials generated from the demolition were repurposed through our in-house crushing operations, further reducing the carbon footprint of the project. This approach not only supported our commitment to sustainability but also resulted in a highly satisfied client.
We are proud to contribute to such environmentally conscious endeavours and the positive impact they have on communities UK nationwide.
