New Project: Elizabeth House at Shrewsbury Hospital
We’re excited to share that our team is currently hard at work on a project to demolish Elizabeth House at Shrewsbury Hospital. After previously removing a concrete link bridge, we’re back to take down this single-story building as part of the hospital’s redevelopment project to further modernise and improve healthcare facilities. This includes the construction of a new four-storey building at the front of the hospital, which will enhance healthcare services for patients.
Our dedicated team is handling every aspect of the demolition process, including:
• Hand demolition
• Mechanical demolition
• Soft stripping
• Separation works
• Slab removal
We’ve also managed the brick and concrete arising and are ensuring that all waste materials are safely removed from the site.
As Shrewsbury Hospital remains fully operational, we’ve taken stringent measures to minimise disruptions and ensure patient and staff well-being. This includes isolating the demolition area with barriers, using dust suppression techniques, and scheduling noisy activities during off-peak hours. Our team conducts regular safety checks and coordinates closely with hospital staff to maintain a safe environment throughout our work.
