Global Asbestos Awareness Week 2025
This Global Asbestos Awareness Week, we’re proud to reaffirm our commitment to creating a safe and informed workplace. 
Asbestos awareness is crucial for protecting our team and community, and we take it seriously. Our staff regularly participate in dedicated training sessions to stay informed and vigilant. This week, we held an Asbestos Awareness session on Monday, and we’re looking forward to our next one on 14th April.
Despite being banned in the UK 25 years ago, asbestos is still responsible for approximately 5,000 deaths annually in the UK. It can be found in buildings constructed or refurbished before 2000, hidden in materials like insulation, fireproof panels, and roofing. Damaged or disturbed asbestos poses serious risks, which is why awareness and prevention are vital.
