Luton Update: Clock Tower Down, Clock Saved
We’re making great strides at the former SKF factory site in Luton, where we’re handling the full demolition across the 16-acre plot.
One of the standout moments so far is that the clock tower has now been fully taken down, but not before we carefully removed one of the original clocks by hand to preserve it for the client. A bit of precision, a bit of teamwork, and a lot of care went into that one.
Now that the tower is down, we’re busy sorting through materials to maximise reuse and recycling. It’s all part of our commitment to keeping things sustainable while getting the job done safely and efficiently.
More updates to come as we keep clearing the way for what’s next at this landmark site.
