We were given a unique opportunity to partner with Nottingham Jobs on a scheme to upskill our workforce and on a marketing campaign to promote the fantastic job opportunities in the construction and demolition industry in Nottingham.

The Nottingham Jobs scheme is a unique partnership between by Nottingham City Council, Futures Advice Skills and Employment and the Department of Work and Pensions which aims to deliver bespoke employment and skills services for employers and job seekers in Nottingham.

Upskilling our workforce

The partnership has enabled TRD to upskill our workforce in the following areas:
– Asbestos training – 3 operatives
– CPCS Plant Training – 5 operatives
– CCDO Demolition labourer cards – 3 operatives
– Abrasive Wheels and Manual Handling – 3 operatives
– Working at Height and Harness – 11 operatives

We have also employed one operative who went through the Nottingham Jobs programme that Nottingham City Council operate.

Nottingham Jobs Marketing Campaign

The Nottingham Jobs marketing campaign featured several of TRD’s employees in a variety of promotional material and was seen by thousands of residents across the city.
