Soft Strip and Enabling Works Underway at Nationwide Retailer in Hull
Total Reclaims Demolition is currently carrying out soft-strip and enabling works at a retailer’s unit in Hull, supporting them in a nationwide £25m store revamp programme – a scheme already delivering a reported 14% uplift in sales across refurbished sites.
Our works on site include:
– Full soft strip of the former retail unit
– Façade removal
– Mezzanine floor removal
– Canopy removal to facilitate welfare set-up
– Segregation and removal of all arising materials using licensed waste containers
– Responsible disposal at licensed waste facilities, in line with TRD’s sustainability commitments
These enabling works form part of the retailer’s accelerated modernisation strategy, which aims to refresh stores across the UK with improved layouts, updated branding, and a more contemporary customer experience.
By preparing the Hull site for its next phase, TRD is helping support the wider transformation programme, ensuring the building is stripped back safely and ready for redevelopment.
