TRD Wins Environmental Award for Shrewsbury Hospital Project! 🏆
We’re proud to share that TRD has won an Environmental Award from Vinci Development for our demolition works at Shrewsbury Hospital. This recognition highlights our commitment to sustainable demolition and responsible waste management throughout the project.
A special mention goes to Stefan Cross, Phil Green, and Craig Oldham who played a key role in delivering this complex demolition, alongside all our dedicated supervisors.
The project involved the demolition of Elizabeth House, following the previous demolition of a concrete link bridge, to make way for the hospital’s redevelopment, including the construction of a new four-storey healthcare facility. Our team handled every aspect of the demolition, from soft stripping and slab removal to mechanical demolition and waste recycling, all while ensuring minimal disruption to the fully operational hospital.
